Raquel joined Care for Me as a Home Care Assistant in November 2020. Her prior experience and aptitude for this role provided her with a deep understanding of elderly care and the challenges faced by frontline staff. In June of 2025 Raquel received the relevant training and promotion to begin working as one of our Weekend On Call Coordinators. In this role she acts as a company liaison between Care for Me, our Care staff and Clients. She also coordinating any care and scheduling needs outside of office opening hours from Friday evening to Monday morning, ensuring all shifts are covered and that adequate relief care is organised when needed. As part of this vital role she also reports and escalates any incidents or concerns to a Care Manager. As of June 2026 she also began managing and maintaining Care for Me’s Social Media presence. As Social Media manager she posts content on our company social media platforms and responds to any queries we may get into the accounts, redirecting them to the relevant person in the office.
