Trevor began working with Care for Me in March of 2014 in the Human Resource department. Trevor oversees all staffing responsibilities, for all of the Care For Me branches. Trevor is a people person and has a genuine love for his job. His friendly and approachable demeanour lends itself extremely well to his role within our company. Trevor liaises with local colleges and employment centres to promote the home care industry as a profession for potential employees as well as offering current staff opportunities to upskill and advance themselves.
Thomas began working with Care for Me in May of 2016 as an intern in the home care coordination department. As a technology and science enthusiast Thomas was keen to put his database management and systems operations skill to use in the healthcare sector. After completing his internship Thomas was offered a full-time position. He was responsible for the modernisation and digitisation of all of our record-keeping in advance of the upcoming GDPR requirements and assisted with the digitisation of all day to day administrative processes. In Mid 2018 Thomas was instrumental in our successful renewal of our HSE tender, he was subsequently promoted to Head Home Care Coordinator of our new North Dublin branch of our company. As of early 2019, Thomas has also been a strong part of our internal Business Development program, which strives to improve and expand the company, from both a service provision perspective as well as administrative.
Shane began working with Care for Me in August of 2015 as an intern in the home care coordination department. In late 2016 Shane was promoted to Head Home Care Coordinator of the South Dublin branch of our company. In addition, Shane was also the main point of contact for our clients and the HSE in relation to all invoicing duties. Shane is a quick thinker and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills which are ideal for the role he holds within our company.
Mark is one of the managing directors at Care for Me, alongside Lynda McCann, both of whom founded the company together in April 2011. Mark is a business entrepreneur and decided to use his business acumen, alongside Lynda, to pioneer a new standard of service within the home care industry. Mark also leads the weekly team meetings with the admin staff of the company. On an ongoing basis, Mark assesses the demands and requirements versus current capacity and takes appropriate action in this regard, to ensure the company is in a position to meet the demands, as well as future proof the company by maintaining an awareness of the requirements of the ageing population of the country. Mark has been a large part of the implementation of many of our employee incentive programs.
Lynda is one of the managing directors at Care for Me, alongside Mark Davis, both of whom founded the company together in April 2011. Lynda’s primary focus within the business is to ensure the company is operating to the highest standards with regards to delivering the highest quality and consistency of care, in line with all guidelines and legislation, while maintaining the company ethos to the provision of our services. Lynda has over 20 years’ experience within the Homecare industry, consisting of delivering care on the frontline in her early days, moving up to positions of authority and management in various organisations, to now owning her own successful national homecare company. Lynda has worked for two large Homecare organisations in the past but became frustrated with the aims, goals and philosophies of these companies. This lead Lynda to started her own company, with co-managing Director Mark Davis, with the mission statement of delivering the highest quality of consistent Person-Centred Care to clients, in the familiarity and comfort of their own homes. Lynda has had a strong relationship with the HSE, since the inception of Care for Me in March 2011. Lynda has worked in the Healthcare Industry for the past 20 years. Lynda endeavours to ensure that continuous improvement is undertaken to meet and exceed the service level required. Lynda’s qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following: Train the Trainer, Manual Handling Instructor and Assessor, Patient Handling Instructor and Assessor, Irish Foundation Basic Life Support Instructor, QQI Trainer and Assessor, American Heart Core Instructor, Dementia Training and Development Tutor.
Catherine began working with Care for Me in May of 2015 as a home care assistant, working with our clients. Catherine excelled in this role and displayed an aptitude for understanding the intricate needs of her clients. In September of 2016, Catherine underwent the relevant training and then received a promotion and began work as a home care manager. Catherine has since completed her manual handling and patient handling instructor training. Catherine works closely with carers ensuring that senior management implements carer’s feedback to enhance carer and client satisfaction and to meet the changing needs of our clients.
Our Operations Manager has worked with Care for Me since Nov of 2015 in an external advisory capacity and has since taken up a full-time position in March of 2019. Aaron works closely with the Managing Directors and is responsible for strategic planning and implementation in order to achieve or goals while developing and maintaining all policies and procedures in order to deliver the highest standards of care for our clients. His insights and advice are crucial to the successful management of our company. As Operations Manager Aaron also supervises all company operations, development of new initiatives and staff and ventures in order to maintain and grow the company. Since commencing his position Aaron has developed and enhanced the way the company manages its operational activities, leading to more effective and efficient daily operations. Aaron’s work ethic is exemplary and his insights have resulted in a visible difference throughout our branches. Alongside our Coordinator Thomas Connor, Aaron was responsible for the modernisation and digitisation of all of our record-keeping in advance of the upcoming GDPR requirements and assisted with the digitisation of all day to day administrative processes. Ailish began working with Care for Me in December of 2011 as a home care coordinator. After amassing the relevant experience, Ailish was promoted to Home Care Manager. In late 2016, Ailish was promoted to Senior Home Care Manager and head of her department. Ailish’s work ethic, empathy and compassion have greatly enhanced our person-centred approach to our clients, which in turn has significantly improved the quality of the service we provide. Ailish is now a fully qualified manual handling and patient handling instructor, which has greatly helped with the constant upskilling of our care team. As of early 2019, Ailish has also been a strong part of our internal Business Development program, which strives to improve and expand the company, from both a service provision perspective as well as administrative.
Audrey is the most recent addition to the Care for Me admin team. Audrey began working with Care for Me in September of 2016 as a home care assistant, working with our clients. Due to her hard work and dedication, in December of 2018 Audrey received a promotion and began working as a home care manager. Audrey works closely with our Northside clients and carers on a daily basis. Audrey has a hands-on approach and regularly upskills our carers-in line with the most recent guidelines and best practise standards, enabling the company to ensure we are using the most effective methods of caring for our clients.
